Privacy Policy

Depending on the features you use, local information may include:

• Drill records
• Shot, split, and draw times
• Drill results
• Target photos
• Notes
• Calibration information
• Personal Records
• Training history
• Other information you deliberately enter into the app

ShotPath does not automatically upload this training information to Argos Holdings LLC or TelemetryDeck. Information leaves ShotPath only when you deliberately use an export or sharing feature, in which case you choose what is shared and where it is sent.

Android version 1.0 excludes ShotPath's private app data from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. On iOS, device backup behavior is controlled by Apple services and your device settings. Exported, shared, or independently backed-up copies are controlled by you and the destination you select.

ShotPath uses TelemetryDeck to understand general product use and improve the app. Analytics are off until you affirmatively choose Share Anonymous Usage. Choosing not to share does not affect app functionality, and you may change your choice later in ShotPath Settings.

When enabled, TelemetryDeck may receive:

• An anonymized identifier associated with the app installation and an anonymous session identifier
• Allowlisted product events, including features and modes selected; drills started, completed, and saved; calibration outcomes; history and Personal Records use; coarse history-count ranges; free-limit events; and whether a target photo was attached
• ShotPath app version and build number
• Operating-system name and version
• General device metadata such as platform, model, brand, architecture, orientation, and display characteristics
• General app language, device language, locale, regional preference, time zone, and accessibility-display settings
• TelemetryDeck SDK name, version, and build type
• A timestamp rounded to the nearest hour

We use this information only to understand aggregate feature use, identify confusing or unreliable areas, evaluate app limits, and guide product development.

ShotPath's anonymous analytics do not include:

• Target photos or camera-analysis frames
• Notes or other user-entered text
• Raw or recorded audio
• Shot, split, or draw times
• Drill scores or exact drill results
• Calibration measurements
• Firearm or ammunition information
• Names, email addresses, account information, or contact details
• Precise or approximate location or GPS coordinates
• Advertising identifiers
• Information used for cross-app or cross-website tracking

ShotPath does not use analytics for advertising, behavioral advertising, or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

TelemetryDeck GmbH is ShotPath's privacy-focused analytics service provider. It processes only the product events and default metadata described above on behalf of Argos Holdings LLC.

TelemetryDeck anonymizes the per-install identifier before storing it, rounds event timestamps to the nearest hour, and states that IP addresses are not stored on its analytics servers. ShotPath does not provide TelemetryDeck with names, email addresses, advertising IDs, account identifiers, raw audio, images, or exact training results.

ShotPath version 1.0 does not send shot times, draw times, split times, drill completion times, scores, or exact performance results through analytics or for benchmarking.

Any future anonymous performance-sharing feature would be separately disclosed, disabled by default, require an affirmative opt-in, and be covered by an updated policy before collection begins.

ShotPath uses the device microphone only when needed for Live Fire shot-detection features. Audio is processed on the device and is not saved, uploaded to Argos Holdings LLC, or sent to TelemetryDeck.

ShotPath may use the device camera for laser-training analysis and target-photo capture. Camera-analysis frames are processed on the device and are not saved or uploaded. Target photos remain in ShotPath's local app storage unless you deliberately export or share them.

Analytics may record only whether a target photo was attached; the photo itself is never sent through product analytics.

ShotPath does not request Location Services, collect GPS coordinates, or use location to identify a range, training facility, home, city, or other place where the app is used. General language, regional preference, locale, and time-zone metadata described above come from device settings and are not precise or approximate location data.

The ShotPath app version 1.0 does not require or provide user accounts. The app does not collect your name, email address, login credentials, mailing address, phone number, or social-media identity.

The ShotPath website separately collects information you choose to submit through its Android testing and support forms. This may include your name, email address, support message, training preferences, feature interests, and referral source. We use Android testing form information to provide test access, communicate about the test, and improve ShotPath. We use support form information to respond to your request.

Website form submissions are delivered to Argos Holdings LLC through our email service provider and are not sent to TelemetryDeck. We keep them only as long as reasonably needed to administer the Android test, provide support, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion by contacting privacy@shotpathtraining.com.

ShotPath does not sell personal information submitted through the app or website.

ShotPath does not display behavioral advertising, sell user data, share data with data brokers, use advertising identifiers, build advertising profiles, or track users across other companies' apps or websites.

Anonymous product analytics are optional. You may stop future analytics from ShotPath → Settings → Anonymous Analytics. Disabling analytics stops the TelemetryDeck SDK and future product events; it does not affect timing, training, history, target-photo, or other core app functionality.

Previously received TelemetryDeck events generally cannot be located or deleted for a particular individual. ShotPath does not maintain a mapping between TelemetryDeck's anonymized identifiers and an identifiable person. Disabling analytics therefore stops future collection but does not identify or remove earlier anonymous events.

Local ShotPath information remains on your device until you delete the applicable record or remove the app, subject to exported, shared, or independently backed-up copies. ShotPath provides deletion controls for saved Drill Runs and related records.

Anonymous events sent to TelemetryDeck are retained according to TelemetryDeck's service configuration and retention practices. They may remain in archived or cold storage after the active query period. Because ShotPath cannot connect those events to an identifiable person, we generally cannot selectively delete one individual's previously collected anonymous analytics.

Website Android testing and support submissions are retained as described in Section 9. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us, subject to records we must keep for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business purposes.

ShotPath version 1.0 uses TelemetryDeck solely as an analytics service provider. We require service providers processing information for ShotPath to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law.

ShotPath does not currently use in-app third-party services for advertising, cross-app tracking, user accounts, cloud synchronization, push notifications, or third-party crash reporting.

The ShotPath website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated spam and Resend to deliver Android testing and support form submissions by email. These providers may process limited information needed to provide and secure those services under their own privacy terms. They are website service providers and are not advertising or cross-app tracking services in the ShotPath app.

ShotPath is designed around data minimization. Most shooting and training information remains on your device instead of being sent to a ShotPath server. Analytics are encrypted in transit. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, but we use reasonable technical and organizational practices to limit collection and unnecessary exposure.

We may update this policy as ShotPath, its data practices, third-party services, or legal and app-store requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate. This policy will be updated before any material new collection begins.
